Our First Apartment
I graduate at the age of 21 and start my working journey. My first job pays me 1.1k per month, it is quite low as a start but it is a good start. After 3 years of working, I manage to save some cash to buy my own house that cost about 90k. This is a top floor walk up apartment with 864 sq ft build up area. This is a small house but I am happy to own this with my fiancé, who is currently my hubby.

This is a beautiful apartment with great landscaping and low density.  There is always lots of over elaborate procedure before we can actually own the house and move in.  First of all, we need to get a bank approved on the loan, and we need to assign a lawyer to manage all the necessary documents. This is our first time, learning and getting the way is what we can do. We do not know our right, so we just listen and follow what the lawyer and banker told us to. Luckily we do not lose anything serious.

After one year of waiting, we managed to move in the apartment.  This is our first apartment, we are very excited and try our very best to make it good and comfort. We get a reliable carpenter for our kitchen cabinet, we research for the house furniture, we bought the curtain, and we buy all the necessary house accessories. This is fun and we enjoy the process as this is all for our new apartment! We are happy that we finally own an apartment that is fully control by us, whether you want to paint the wall red, or you want to have any electric appliances install etc. It is always good to own a house rather than renting a house.  We love our apartment so much because it is solely own by us now!

Buying a new landed house
We managed to buy a better landed house 4 years later. It cost us about 260k with land area of 30 x 70. This is much easier for us to handle all the elaborate procedure at this time.  We successfully move in the house after a year. Most developers will give 6 months for house defragment. We check all the building materials to make sure that they are in good conditions. We can ask for repair until satisfaction within this period, so be sure to use your right.

Selling our Apartment
Owning  an apartment but didn’t use it or rented will be a waste because you need to pay maintenance fee every month! We successfully sell our apartment last year. Our apartment falls under Strata Title. It is another elaborate procedure to sell the apartment.  We have been dealing with these for about one year. Luckily it is going to settle by this few days. Hopefully everything will be settling soon!
